Whole Foods worker tests positive for COVID-19
A worker at Whole Foods in Cambridge has tested positive for COVID-19, the grocery chain confirms.“The safety of our Team Members and customers is our top priority and we are diligently following all guidance from local health and food safety authorities,” Whole Foods said in a statement.The chain did not release any information about the River Street store worker.“We’ve been working closely with our store Team Member, and are supporting the diagnosed Team Member, who is in quarantine,” the statement said.Additional cleanings and disinfection were performed at the store.The chain said it previously implemented enhanced daily cleanliness and sanitation protocols and were operating under social distancing guidelines in stores and facilities.
