In his role as the Vice Chancellor for Administration, Eric is responsible for facilities (including campus planning & construction, plant operations, real estate, and sustainability and environmental management), public safety (including police, parking services and emergency preparedness), mobility and transportation, auxiliary services (including campus dining, printing services, mail services, VU bookstore), and central administration (including card services, finance and administration, payroll and HR systems).

Michael works with staff throughout the university to align and implement mobility planning goals outlined in MoveVU, Vanderbilt’s strategic transportation and mobility plan. He provides leadership in transportation infrastructure planning and mobility policy development at Vanderbilt, and with Metro, regional and community partners.

Alexander Kohnen

Alexander oversees oversees the planning, program management and implementation of best practices for all aspects of campus facilities and grounds operations, maintenance, utilities and construction as well as real estate initiatives.  He leads a workforce of 450 staff members responsible for the physical campus, which encompasses 10.8 million total square feet of space, including 7.2 million square feet of buildings, 333 acres of land, 2.1 million square feet of real estate property, 1.8 million feet of garages, a combined heat and power plant and comprehensive underground utility infrastructure, and the design and construction of capital projects.

Patrick acts as a key leader in the Division of Administration by working in close collaboration with and serving as a proxy for the Vice Chancellor for Administration on a wide range of divisional and institutional initiatives. As part of his portfolio, Patrick oversees the Central Administration team comprised of Card Services, Employee Immigration Services, Finance & Administration, Payroll & HR Records, and Child & Family Centers.

David leads planning, administration, operations, and strategic initiatives for Auxiliary Services which is responsible for delivering a diverse array of campus services at Vanderbilt University.  Auxiliary Services is comprised of 373 team members who manage and operate; Dining Services, Catering, Concessions, Printing Services, Mail Services, and the Vanderbilt Bookstore.  The departments combine to serve over two million meals, deliver 300,000 packages, produce 1,000,000 print projects, and provide over 40,000 books to the students at Vanderbilt University.

August is responsible for the Vanderbilt University Public Safety Department, which provides comprehensive law enforcement and security services to all components of Vanderbilt University, including the University campus, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the various University-owned facilities throughout the Davidson County area.  The department manages several additional functions beyond the precincts, including Special Operations and Dignitary Protection; the Office of Emergency Preparedness, Fire and Workplace Safety; Parking Services and Law Enforcement Systems; and Operational Continuity.
