FIELD OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR – Bradford

Tri-Valley Transit Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a Field Operations Supervisor for its community transportation operations. The ideal candidate will support TVT in its mission to enhance the economic, social and environmental health of the region by providing public transportation services that are safe, reliable, accessible and affordable for everyone.

The Field Operations Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the daily field supervision and performance evaluation of TVT’s Bus Drivers. Position will primarily work out of TVT’s Bradford office and perform Randolph coverage, as necessary. Overall responsibilities include:

  • Perform field observations of drivers
  • Coach drivers on safety, customer service & regulations
  • Assistance with training
  • Substitute driving
  • Scheduling
  • Providing support to the Operations Manager

This is a full-time, salaried position and may require 24/7 availability for emergency situations and the ability to be on call. CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement is required, onsite training is available for the right candidate. Computer proficiency is required.

COMMUNITY DRIVERS

Do you have a little spare time and a safe vehicle?  You can improve the life of a homebound senior, disabled adult or other vulnerable neighbor by driving them to access medical appointments, food and other basic necessities.  You tell us how much or little time you are able to devote and we’ll handle all the logistics.

Community Driver Benefits

As a Community Driver for TVT you give your time but receive many benefits in return:

  • Reimbursement at the federal mileage rate for all miles driven, including to and from your home (does not affect social security or disability income)
