Emily McCall never thought she would be able to go to college. A married mother of two in her late-20s, she was working full time as an LNA at Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) and wanted to continue her education, but “to leave my job, which I absolutely love, to go back to school, didn’t seem doable, and it didn’t seem worth it.”
