    PK Invitational

by Duck Fan Mark on 12/1/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

The tournament was great with a great line up of both men's and women's teams. However, I can't stand the Moda Center. The seats are not built with comfort in mind and concession prices are absurd. I went to 8 games during the tournament and refused to buy anything at the concession stands. $8 for a regular soda, $5.50 for a bottle of water is ridiculous. The merchandise pricing was outrageous as well, $35 for a lame PK Invitational hat. Count me out.

    Great event

by FatGuyOnBike on 12/1/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

Let's have a PK86! It would be great to have this much college basketball on Thanksgiving every year.

Sound terrible. Food expensive and below expectations

    by G. C. on 11/30/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

The speakers were loud to the point of distortion in videos prior to team introduction (Moda Center). Food poor - Specifically chicken sandwich in Moda Center. $5.50 for a bottle of water!!

Attended the Phil Knight basketball tournament.

by Dave Tovey on 11/30/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

Was a tremendously fun event. With so many teams and venues, we were able to find and secure excellent seats with room to spread out. The events we attended were far from sold out capacity so concessions and rest room breaks were easy and quick. Just an outstanding and fun event all the way around seeing the top men and women teams from around the country! Will say too that it took us older guys some to figure how to navigate the electronic tickets but feel like we came away with some new technology skills!

    Good event

by Ben on 11/30/22Chiles Center-Univ of Portland - Portland

Attended Fri night at Vets Memorial and Sunday pm at Chiles. Fully electronic ticket was a good experience, plenty of attended entry doors. Great selection of schools. Referees at the Sunday’s game made sketchy calls for each team.

    WHY No National Anthem

by Rick Boyle on 11/28/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

As veteran of the US Navy I am totally offended by Phil Knight and his tournament committee members. Why didn’t you all play the National Anthem before the games? I asked the usher at the games I was at and he said you all failed to play it the night before. This is a total disgrace and a slap in the face to not only all US Veterans but the American people. I appears Phil Knight chose to divide our country even more and doesn’t have the balls to stand up to the liberal environment that Portland is. I was considering going to Sunday’s

    Great Weekend

by Daggum Heels on 11/28/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

The venues were terrific! Affordable concessions as well! I was kinda bummed about the arena cutting off alcohol sales before the start of the second half, but I had a blast. Thank you to the Moda Center, Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum the city of Portland and to Nike for the teams they included in their field.

    PKI review

by Susan on 11/28/22Chiles Center-Univ of Portland - Portland

I thought the PKI was well done and I enjoyed the experience. The price for the ticket, $85 per person, was very excessive. I had 4 family members attend the event. Two of them didn't want to stay for the second game of the session. Therefore, the price for one game at UP was $85! Horribly excessive. I will not be attending any more PK tournaments unless the prices change and become more reasonable.

    PK Friday night

by Santa on 11/28/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

Loved it. Great teams. Good announcers. Of course the facility wasn’t as good as Moda. It was clean.
