Jeff Lawrence challenges incumbent John Hinz for Winnebago County Board District 21 seat

OSHKOSH ― Incumbent John Hinz will be facing a challenge from social worker Jeff Lawrence when both men take to the polls on April 2 to contest the Winnebago County Board of Supervisors District 21 seat.

As part of the Northwestern's ongoing election coverage, both candidates were asked to share their priorities for the district. Hinz declined to participate while Lawrence detailed his possible plans for Winnebago County. Here's what he had to say.

What would be your three priorities if elected? My priorities would be preserving county resources such as Parkview Health Center and the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department, focusing on recruitment and retention of county employees and promoting equitable access to services for all county residents.
