About the Cause:

Breast cancer mainly occurs in middle-aged women. Overall, the average risk of a woman in the United States developing breast cancer sometime in her life is about 13%. This means there is a 1 in 8 chance she will develop breast cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society, when breast cancer is detected early, and is in the localized stage, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%. However, a substantial racial gap of surviving breast cancer remains and mostly due to a lack of access to quality medical services.  Your donations help us narrow the gap by identifying and reaching out to segments of the population who need these important services the most.
