Charlie Worsham brings his faith in happily-ever-after to a new live video, sharing a gentle acoustic rendition of his heartwarming single, “Believe In Love.”

Recorded live at The Mockingbird in Nashville and premiering exclusively on Sounds Like Nashville today (July 12), the clip is an inspiring reminder that true love is indeed possible — the kind that changes everything. And that means anything is possible.

Featuring the sound of a swaying country lullaby, with delicate harmony, whisper-soft drums and Worsham’s tip-toeing guitar work — plus a gentle summer breeze of steel guitar — the performance finds Worsham backed by five friends with a tight knit connection. And playing in to that human connection, the song itself celebrates things that are true, even though they can’t be seen.

From hard work and faith to hope and the power of music, Worsham tributes the intangible elements that make life special — and chief among those is love. That love could come from a romantic partner, or really anyone who opens your heart to joy. But in the song’s official video, Worsham reveals that person to be his infant son.

“And you / You make me believe in love / You / You give me a reason to trust that there’s / A happy ever-after / If it’s with you, that’s enough / Baby it’s true / You make me believe / Make me believe in love,” goes the inspiring chorus.

“A couple months back, I gathered with some dear friends who played on my forthcoming EP to jam on those same songs live and in person,” Worsham tells SLN. “I’ve known some of them since college, and most of us have been playing and singing together for years, not just on my records but on records for everyone from Luke Combs to Eric Church. ‘Believe In Love’ was particularly poignant to sing at the Mockingbird, because one thing I believe in without question is the power and beauty of old friends.”

“Believe In Love” will be part of the upcoming EP from Charlie Worsham, titled Sugarcane and arriving July 16. He recently shared another romantic track from the set, “Half Drunk,” and before that released the single “Fist Through This Town.” Fans might remember Worsham form his 2013 country-radio single “Could It Be,” and lately he’s been splitting time as an in-demand session player, a sometimes member of Old Crow Medicine Show and the host of Air Castle Community Hour on WSM.
