Course Information Night 2024

Come hear from our Instructional Department Chairs about course progressions, differences in course levels, outside work expectations of courses, and much more. We will review graduation requirements and how to calculate your GPA. You'll get a chance to ask your specific questions after the presentation during the Q&A in the library. We hope to see you there!

Check here for resources for your rising freshman. See what electives are available to them for their freshmen year. Find posted presentations given by the Heritage School Counselors during their middle school visits mid-February. And get familiar with the faces of their School Counselors/Unified Mental Health Team once they join the Pride. Help them get Ready to Roar!

Our instructional departments have created videos to help you understand your elective choices. Check out all that is available based on your interest and career goals as you make your decisions during course selection.
You need Health/PE 9 & Health/PE 10 to graduate, but did you know that we offer many other PE electives and most are now available to 10th grades as well? Check out the Health & PE page for more info.
Want to be able to communicate with others in more than one langauge? Need to complete the World Language requirement for the Advanced Studies Diploma? See all that our World Language Department has to offer. (You won't find Russian available anywhere else!)
The Course Planning Resources helps you find what you need to feel comfortable with the course selection process, understand procedures, and find resources to support you in your discussions and decisions. Be 'in the know' about important deadlines and registration procedures for course selection. Find out the deadline to change an elective choice or drop down in class rigor for next year (spoiler alert, it's June 21st). Mark your calendars for the DE Registration Deadline and the Level-Up Conversation Deadline (it's May 17th). Seniors - learn your deadline for completing your Early Release Permission Click with your family (it's June 21st), and much more.
Need to take specific steps before your student can register for specific courses (ex: Dual Enrollment Registration, Early Release Permission Click, etc.) Check HERE for the forms and instructions needed to register by your deadlines.
