Below are three scholarships offered by the National Center for Simulation on behalf of two Modeling and Simulation Hall of Fame Members and from proceeds that are raised from generous donations from the Annual Lou Frey Memorial Golf Tournament. Since the inception of the golf tournament approximately $500,000 has been raised.
At least one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year for a new or continuing student enrolled in the Seminole State College (SSC) simulation track of the AS in Computer Programming & Analysis or BS in Information Systems Technology.
Two awards in memory of Vince and Beth Amico will be made annually and paid per semester. Each award made will be for an amount up to $2,500 or one half of the available balance in the fund prior to the award, whichever is less.
This program is designed to recognize academic achievement & improvement in addition to recognizing those students who have continually strived for excellence in their communities.
