Reaction was first launched in 1982 – Registration N. 922771 – Sail N. GBR 9614. She has a white hull, fin keel and is fitted with an outboard engine. She can be easily sailed single handed, with crew she can perform very well and win in club racing, but she is also very good for cruising.
With the current owner (from 14 March 2015) she has been well looked after, maintained and predominantly used for family cruising around the South Coast of England, but she also took part to few sailing races (predominantly Round the Island race) with good results: winner in IRC division 3C Round the Island Race 2016 (1st Impala and 25th overall in IRC class) and 3rd in IRC division 3C Round the Island Race 2017 (1st Impala and 45th overall on IRC class). She also comes with a boat stand in galvanized steel.
