Dr. Harris will be presenting a monthly workshop this fall at the University of Kentucky. 

The Data Science Applications in Healthcare series meets to discuss current data science trends, technologies, and problem-solving strategies. The first session will introduce databases and the query language SQL.

Also discussed will be concepts needed to understand the basics of healthcare-related databases, such as standardized vocabularies. No prior knowledge of databases is required to attend.
