Volunteers play a critical role in helping refugees and immigrants thrive in the United States. The International Rescue Committee (IRC) offers volunteer opportunities to work remotely and in person (while following COVID-19 precautions). Here's the process:

Why I volunteer with the IRC

I believe refugees have a right to dignity and respect for their cultures, traditions, and lives before their displacement. I don’t believe this right always exists in the U.S., and I want to work towards changing the status quo.
