WHITE TRUFFLE MARINARA

For a limited time, Rao's Homemade has crafted a White Truffle Marinara which pairs naturally sweet Italian tomatoes with decadent Italian truffles to create a sophisticated sauce that will elevate any meal.

My great grandmother Paolina, Frank Senior’s grandmother, used to prepare a delicious marinara sauce for special occasions. She used to also make fresh pasta as the perfect vehicle for the sauce, such a great marriage. This white truffle marinara is luxurious without being pretentious, providing depths of flavor to pretty much any pasta dish.

BALSAMIC
CONDIMENT

Our balsamic condiments are made from Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes and aged in open wood barrels to allow for natural fermentation and concentration. The result is perfectly balanced, complex flavor ideal for finishing your favorite Italian recipe.

We always had a few special bottles of aged balsamics at our house that we used for a variety of finishing techniques to really showcase the nuanced flavors of the dish we were preparing.

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

A fruity and fragrant olive oil with a delicate aroma and notes of pine nut made in the Ligurian region of Italy, famous for its rich soil upon which olive oil has been made for centuries. This Ligurian Olive Oil is DOP certified to ensure the highest quality.
This olive oil takes me to the heart of seaside Italian cooking where fishermen all along the coast of the Ligurian Sea catch fish and cook it immediately on at grill at the dock with just some lemon and really great olive oil. Simple perfection.

ANTIPASTI

We’ve sourced some delicious olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and olive spreads that are perfect for elevating your next charcuterie plate or even just for snacking before dinner.
Sometimes we won’t have a formal meal, but I love to put out a selection of cured meats, cheeses and other antipasti dishes. The Mediterranean Spiced Olives, Black Olive Spread, and Sundried Tomatoes are the perfect compliment to a spread.
