Lithion Recycling Wins Second Annual Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge

BOULDER, Colo. - July 16, 2021 - PRLog -- Lithion Recycling, a Canadian company, won the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association's (CCIA) second annual Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge Thursday, July 15, 2021. The Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge was hosted by the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association in partnership with CALSTART.

The Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge (CVCC) featured 12 companies hailing from the United States, Canada and Israel. Each company was selected through a competitive vetting process by leaders and technology experts in the transportation industry and invited to present virtually. Technologies presented at the Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge offered sustainable solutions to the commercial vehicle industry.

"Lithion is excited and proud to have been named the winner of this year's CVCC. We wish to thank the judges for this recognition and their vision on the importance to have a sustainable battery recycling solution in place to achieve our electrification goals," Jean-Christophe Lambert, Business Development Manager for Lithion Recycling, said of winning the event.

Resilient Power Systems was the second place winner with Soteria Battery Innovation Group coming in third place.
