Follow on Google News | Lithion Recycling Wins Second Annual Commercial Vehicle Cleantech ChallengeBy: CCIA The Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge (CVCC) featured 12 companies hailing from the United States, Canada and Israel. Each company was selected through a competitive vetting process by leaders and technology experts in the transportation industry and invited to present virtually. Technologies presented at the Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge offered sustainable solutions to the commercial vehicle industry. "Lithion is excited and proud to have been named the winner of this year's CVCC. We wish to thank the judges for this recognition and their vision on the importance to have a sustainable battery recycling solution in place to achieve our electrification goals," Jean-Christophe Lambert, Business Development Manager for Lithion Recycling, said of winning the event. Resilient Power Systems was the second place winner with Soteria Battery Innovation Group coming in third place. In addition to bringing new technology solutions to the market, they can also be credited for their role in jobs creation and cleaner air," Kimberly Taylor, Director of Industry and Member Services at CALSTART, commented on the presenting companies. The 12 companies that presented at the 2021 Commercial Vehicle Cleantech Challenge included: Air Squared Current Motor Works LLC ElectReon Emporia Energy Inmotive Inc. Lithion Recycling MITO Material Solutions NiveauUp Inc. Odyne Systems Pitstop Predictive Maintenance Resilient Power Systems Soteria Battery Innovation Group Program sponsors and partners were Toyota, Eaton, Navistar, Kenworth, GM, NextEra Energy, the Consulate General of Canada in Denver, Black & Veatch, Denver Metro Clean Cities, E Source, RMI, Colorado Office for Economic Development and International Trade, Colorado Energy Office, NACFE, and the Colorado Hydrogen Network.
