NHBA Mariners Select is a premier youth baseball program for residences of Newport Beach & Costa Mesa. We are not a "travel team," but a development program geared towards kids' that wish to achieve their goals of playing at a higher level. The Mariners Select program was created in the Fall of 2020 with the help of MLB scout and hitting coach Steve Springer, MLB pitching coach Zak Doan and our incredible coaching staff. In just two short seasons, our 9U through 12U teams have improved dramatically even winning two National Championship Sports Tournaments and a regular season Select League title.
What we pride ourselves on is the work our coaching staff does to develop our young athletes on and off the field. Respect, character, heart, maturity, work ethic and teamwork are just some of the characteristics that the program is all about. We pride ourselves in COMMUNICATING with everyone in our program. We have established great relationships with many high school and college coaches who are passionate about our mission. Our teams take part in a Fall/Winter season from August through November as well as a Spring/Summer season from February through June. The season includes a mixture of Orange County Select League and occasional tournaments. Winning is great and it's something we strive for, but its more important for us to build "winners" in each one of our young athletes. Welcome to NHBA Mariners Baseball.
Fall Registration is $1,350, this will include 2 uniform hats
Teams will be responsible to directly cover the cost of their coaches, tournament fees, etc.
Each player will be responsible to cover the cost of their practice jerseys and game uniforms.
