An independent, hospital-based group of four pathologists is seeking a full-time, AP/CP BC/BE pathologist to fill an upcoming vacancy created by retirement. The target date of May 2024 is flexible. This is a partnership track position with favorable terms. We serve a medium-sized tertiary hospital and have outreach relationships with a few smaller hospitals. Daily activities include surgical pathology with occasional frozen sections, cytopathology with intraoperative interpretations, hematopathology and clinical laboratory duties. No autopsies, minimal grossing and rare after-hours or weekend calls. Workload, call duties and time off are all shared equally.

Pathologist (AP/CP)
LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN (USA).
The Department of Pathology at Gundersen Health System, La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time BC/BE anatomic and clinical pathologist. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience as a staff pathologist with broad surgical pathology and cytopathology diagnostic skills, although a strong candidate completing residency/fellowship training will be considered. The candidate should also possess superior communication skills and be comfortable in leadership roles.
All surgical pathology and cytopathology diagnostic services currently provided by the pathologists at Gundersen Health System reside in the central core laboratory location in La Crosse. Pathology volumes currently include over 38,000 surgical cases, 11,000 Paps and 1,500 non-gynecologic cytology specimens annually, coming from a growing network of regional clinics and affiliated rural hospital sites in western Wisconsin, eastern Minnesota, and northeastern Iowa. There is no autopsy service.
Gundersen Health System is a physician influenced, multispecialty group practice that serves as the western clinical campus of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. The medical center’s La Crosse campus is a tertiary referral center, a certified cancer center, and a level II trauma and emergency facility. Renal Pathologist

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is recruiting for an academic Renal Pathologist. Our Surgical Pathology division operates under a subspecialty model. Neuropathologist Physician Scientist

The University of Wisconsin Medical Center is a tertiary care center with state of the art neuro-imaging, neurology and neurological surgery programs. Pediatric and Adult Hematopathologist

Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Pediatric and Adult Hematopathologist.
The successful candidate will find themselves in an enriching environment with myriad clinical and research opportunities spanning the whole spectrum of academic hematopathology. Clinical responsibilities will include service work in both pediatric (~60% at Children’s Wisconsin [CW]) and adult hematopathology (~40% at Froedtert Hospital) with shared call responsibilities. Administrative responsibilities include directing the CW Hematology, Coagulation, and Flow Cytometry Laboratories. Academic responsibilities will include teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows and participation in clinical, translational, or basic science research. Protected time commensurate with nonclinical responsibilities will be provided.
The candidate will primarily be based at CW, located in Milwaukee, WI, which is a nationally recognized and ranked 297 bed pediatric hospital serving as the only free-standing pediatric children’s hospital in the state of Wisconsin. CW is designated as a Level I Children’s Surgery Center by the American College of Surgeons and has active heart, liver, and kidney transplant programs.
The remainder of the candidate’s clinical service will be at Froedtert Hospital, a 735 bed adult hospital which serves as the primary teaching affiliate for MCW and includes five regional hospitals within its system. The department’s training programs encompass 16 AP/CP residency slots, two one-year hematopathology fellowship positions, and additional fellowship programs in various subspecialty areas.

Hematopathologist and Surgical Pathologist

North Shore Pathologists is one of the largest private pathology service providers in Wisconsin.
