Training Camp Fact Sheet

Carry-In Policy

Carry-ins will be limited to small bags and coolers, so as not to take up more space than below a person's feet. The carry-in policy will be primarily monitored by the Packers Guest Service ambassadors and supported by Packers security. Smoking, alcohol, and pets are prohibited. Still photos are allowed. Video is prohibited.

All carry-in items are subject to search.

Nitschke Field Bleachers & Gate Hours

All seats will be first-come, first-served, except where designated as reserved seats on special occasions. Gates will open 1½ hours prior to each scheduled practice and close 30 minutes after each practice.

Restrooms

Public portalets will be located in the southern half of the Nitschke Field parking lot, east of the bleachers.

Road Closures & Security

Armed Forces Drive will be closed at Oneida Street and only accessible for west bound traffic off of Holmgren Way to nearby parking lots. The Oneida Street crosswalk will be staffed by law enforcement. Road closes 1 hour prior to practice.

Parking Lots

The Resch Center US Cellular Lot on Armed Force Drive and Packers private lot off Mike McCarthy Way will both be open to the public for parking during practices. During Resch Complex event days, the U.S. Cellular Lot will need to be cleared during certain hours. A separate communication will be issued regarding those special event days.

Location: Nitschke Field & DreamDrive

Stop by the American Family Insurance cart along DreamDrive and at Nitschke Field and pick up some free American Family Insurance swag items before heading into practice!

American Family Insurance DreamDrive

Location: Lambeau Field Parking Lot to Nitschke Field

Centered on the long-standing Green Bay Packers tradition of players riding kids' bikes to practice during training camp, DreamDrive will kick off this year on the first day of the Packers training camp on Wednesday, July 27.

On the quarter-mile route between Lambeau Field and Ray Nitschke Field – the team's practice facility – Packers players will interact with fans as they make their way to practice. In addition to the bikes kids bring to training camp, DreamDrive features five custom, three-wheeler "Dream Fleet" bikes, which kids and Packers players can ride together.

Concessions

Location: Nitschke Field

PMI will be offering concessions out of their Expo concession stand most days of camp for sale to the general public. Concessions will open 1 hour prior to the start of practice.

Discover Green Bay (formerly Green Bay Visitor & Convention Bureau)

Location: Nitschke Field

The GBCVB will have their mobile welcome center trailer located outside the Nitschke Practice Field bleachers handing out information on other things to see and do in the Green Bay area. Fans/visitors can also put their dot (pin) on a world map.

Guest Services

Location: Nitschke Field

Guest Services will staff an information trailer at the Nitschke Practice Field throughout training camp. Additionally, Guest Services ambassadors (wearing red) will be on hand at each of the practice field gates to assist training camp guests with their questions starting 1½ hours prior to the start of practice.

Junior Power Pack Kiosk

Location: Nitschke Field

Fans can stop by the Junior Power Pack Kiosk throughout Training Camp to receive more information on the Junior Power Pack fan club. Fans who renew their membership or register for the Junior Power Pack will receive a small gift.

Bellin Health Bike Safety Event – Thursday, July 28

Location: Lot 13

The first week of Training Camp will also include several activities for families and fans to enjoy, including the annual Packers and Bellin Health Bike Rodeo with the De Pere Police Department from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday, July 28. The event will feature free bike helmet fittings, a bike helmet giveaway and a bike safety course designed to help children learn the rules of the road. The event will be held in Lot 13 adjacent to Ray Nitschke Field.

Bellin Health – Saturday, July 30

Location: Nitschke Field

Individuals and families are invited to enjoy the new Bellin Health Training Camp Village, a fun-and health-focused event to be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 30. Activities will take place in the parking lot adjacent to Nitschke Field. Attendees will enjoy inflatables, a mini combine, games as well as have a chance to win prizes and tickets to Family Night. Alumni autographs will be available during the event. Learn about health issues that matter to them and sign up for a chance to win some great prizes.

Emsculpt Neo – Tuesday, August 2nd

Location: Nitschke Field

Fans can stop by to see the latest in body shaping from Emsculpt Neo. Fans will have an opportunity to learn more about Emsculpt Neo's body shaping procedure which provides simultaneous fat elimination and muscle building in only 30 minutes!

Chevy Packers Display – Thursday, August 4th and Sunday, August 7th

Location: Nitschke Field

Fans can stop by to see the latest from Chevrolet. Fans who stop by and learn about the Chevrolet line up could also win some Chevrolet & Packers swag! Fans can also register for a chance to win a brand new Chevrolet vehicle in the Packers Fan Sweepstakes.

WHAT ARE THE TRAINING CAMP PRACTICE DATES AND TIMES? WHERE ARE THE PRACTICES HELD?

See the practice schedule for more info on dates/times/locations of practices open to the public. Watching practice is free and open to the public during training camp (first-come, first-served), as indicated on the training camp practice schedule (select dates).

HOW DO I FIND A TEAM ROSTER OR TRAINING CAMP PROGRAM/GUIDE?

You can view the team roster on packers.com. Also, at Training Camp, USA Today will have Training Camp guides available to the public daily. The Training Camp Guide includes the team roster. Look for the newspaper kiosk near the practice field to obtain your Training Camp Guide.

DO KIDS STILL HAVE PLAYERS RIDE THEIR BIKES?

Every year at Packers Training Camp, players ride kids' bikes up and down American Family Insurance's DreamDrive to and from practice -- a well-documented tradition that dates back to the Vince Lombardi era. Many players ride the same child's bike each day, creating a special bond between Packers and young fans, not to mention many unforgettable memories.

WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS?

Restrooms are located inside the Lambeau Field Atrium, a short walk from the practice field, and can be found inside the American Family Insurance Gate or one level up on the Atrium's main floor. Portable restrooms are located outside Ray Nitschke Field.

WHERE CAN WE EAT AND WHAT TIMES ARE THE RESTAURANTS OPEN?

The Lambeau Field Atrium provides indoor dining options during Training Camp, including 1919 Kitchen & Tap. Alternative dining options are also available on a seasonal basis.

HOW DO YOU ASSIST THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?

Wheelchairs are available at the Guest Services Desk located in the Lambeau Field Atrium for use inside the facility. Guests requiring a wheelchair are asked to enter the Atrium through the American Family Insurance Gate and use the elevators to proceed to the main floor of the Atrium. Personal identification, such as a driver's license, is required for use of wheelchairs. We also have two strollers for use inside the facility.

WHAT CAN WE DO AT LAMBEAU FIELD BESIDES WATCH TRAINING CAMP PRACTICE?

Packers Training Camp has become much more than only watching the team practice. With outdoor kiosks offering new promotions and activities daily, as well as the Packers Pro Shop, 1919 Kitchen & Tap and Stadium Tours in the Lambeau Field Atrium, visiting training camp can be fun for those of all ages.

CAN I SEE THE FIELD?

You certainly may see the field on a Lambeau Field Stadium Tour. During training camp, visitors have the choice between several different Stadium Tours, which each allow guests to see the field and pass through the players tunnel. Tours are a tremendous opportunity for fans and visitors to learn about Lambeau Field and Packers history. See more information on Stadium Tours.

CAN WE PURCHASE STADIUM TOUR TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME?

Limited number of tours are sold online. All other tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis for each day's available tours. Tickets cannot be sold over the phone. Advance tickets may be purchased online. Stadium Tours do sell out on a regular basis, so please arrive early. Daily Hours: On site tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. on Sundays at the Hall of Fame front desk (hours vary on game weekends). Hours are subject to change due to holidays, events and gamedays. Please visit Packers.com for the most current information.

WHO CAN ANSWER MY QUESTIONS WHEN I ARRIVE AT TRAINING CAMP?

For the convenience of visitors, the Guest Services desk is open in the Lambeau Field Atrium, Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Members of the Guest Services staff (wearing red) also will be at Ray Nitschke Field during practice.

CAN WE TAILGATE IN THE PARKING LOT?

Tailgating is a tradition at Lambeau Field, and it all starts during Training Camp. The parking lots are open for your tailgating experience. We only ask that you maintain a safe environment and that you dispose of refuse and hot grilling coals in receptacles provided throughout the lots. Overnight parking is not allowed in the Lambeau Field stadium lots.

HOT WEATHER SAFETY TIPS:

  1. Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid drinks with caffeine or alcohol
  2. Wear protective clothing. Lightweight, light-colored, and loose-fitting clothing.
  3. Use a cool damp rag. Wipe your face or put it around your neck.
  4. Avoid getting sunburn. Use sunscreen and wear a hat.
  5. Be alert to signs of heat-related illness. Know what to look for and check on others that might be at high risk.
  6. Avoid direct sun. Find shade if possible.
  7. Eat smaller meals. Eat fruits high in fiber and natural juice. Avoid high protein foods.
