Headache Medicine Fellowship Match

Headache Medicine is a multidisciplinary field that has found a home in Neurology given the fundamental involvement of the central and peripheral nervous system in primary and secondary headache disorders. The subspecialty encompasses the development of expertise in a range of primary headache and facial pain disorders such as migraine and trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias, secondary headaches, and other disorders of the head and neck. The Headache Specialist is a physician who has specific skills in the diagnosis and management of people with headache disorders. Applicants must possess a current valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States or Canada. Applicants must be graduates of a residency program in Neurology or other specialties accredited by the ACGME, RCPSC, or CanERA. Applicants must be board certified or eligible for certification in their primary specialty by the ABMS, RCPSC, AOA, or CFPC.
