Notice at Collection & Privacy Policy for Job Applicants Residing in California (“California Privacy Notice”)

Pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively the “CCPA”), Noridian Healthcare Solutions LLC (“Noridian” or “Company”) is providing you with this Notice at Collection & Privacy Policy for Applicants Residing in California (“Notice”) to inform California residents who apply for jobs with Noridian about the Personal Information that we collect and the purposes for that collection, as well as your rights under the CCPA. SCOPE

This Notice is only for individuals who reside in the State of California and are applying for jobs at the Company.

DEFINITIONS

For purposes of this Notice,

Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a natural person that the Company collects about its applicants, who reside in California, in their capacity as applicants with the Company. “Personal Information” does not include publicly available information, deidentified or aggregated consumer information, or other information excluded from the CCPA’s scope, such as information covered by other sector-specific privacy laws (e.g., Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996).

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Below are the categories of Personal Information the Company may collect about you and the purposes for which the Personal Information may be used.

NOTE:  We do not sell or share this sensitive Personal Information, as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes other than those permitted under the CCPA.

COOKIES

We use cookies to make interactions with our Site easy and meaningful. A cookie is a small piece of information that is sent to your browser when you access a website. There are two kinds of cookies, a session cookie, and a persistent cookie. Noridian primarily uses session cookies. A session cookie is text that is stored temporarily in your computer’s memory but never written to a drive. It is destroyed as soon as you close your browser. Noridian also may use persistent cookies, which are saved to a file on your hard drive.

Noridian also uses Google Analytics to perform analytics and better understand and improve our Site. As part of this service, we make available certain personal information (such as IP address) to Google Analytics.

Web Beacons and Similar Tracking Technologies

We may record information about how users access our websites. This information may include your IP address (or the DNS name associated with it) and what Web software you are using (browser and version).

Opting-Out

You may opt-out of the cookies associated with out analytics service provider—Google Analytics—by visiting our cookie management tool. You may also opt-out of your data from our Site being available for use by Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity. We do not “sell” or “share” the Personal Information you provide to us when you apply for a job, as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We do not have actual knowledge of selling or sharing Personal Information of minors under 16.

RETENTION POLICY

It is our policy to not retain Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information for longer than is reasonably necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. The criteria we use to determine the specific retention period include: the type of information collected, our business purposes for retaining the information, and the various legal and regulatory requirements, including federal contracting obligations and EEO reporting requirements.
