A former Oklahoma City ambulance driver has received a seven-year suspended sentence under supervision of the Department of Corrections after a deadly crash in 2017.

A former Oklahoma City ambulance driver has received a seven-year suspended sentence under the supervision of the Department of Corrections after a deadly crash in 2017.

Investigators said Matthew Erickson was speeding and driving erratically when he crashed while driving an ambulance in August of 2017.

The crash killed a patient, Carolyn Koch, and injured another medic.

Erickson was charged with manslaughter in 2019.
