2024 Cello Intenstive has reached capacity!
At MIC's summer Cello Intensive, students have fun while improving their cello technique, perfecting practice plans, exploring alternative musical styles, learning how to perform under pressure, and more! Each student will receive a booklet of exercises and music and will have access to recorded sessions.

Daily Schedule
9:30 - 10:00 am Warmups and stretching
10:00 - 11:00 am Technique
11:00 am - 12:00 pm Alternative styles & special topic classes (vibrato/intonation and bow stroke development)
12:00 - 1:00 pm Lunch - bring a bag lunch
1:00 - 2:00 pm Cello choir
2:00 - 3:30 pm Performance class, mental performance training, and effective practice training
3:30 - 5:00 pm Optional 30-minute private lessons with Mr. Friedlander for an additional fee
