What's That Noise?  

Sam Lopez has a passion for noise music. He is the founder and curator of Stay Strange, San Diego's exclusive noise and experimental music collective.  

 

For What's That Noise?, drawing from over 10 years of experience, Lopez will share anecdotes, reveal secrets, offer insight and explore the fascinating history of the San Diego noise and experimental music scene. Be warned though; there will be noise (and other surprises).

Sam López es apasionado de la música noise. Es el fundador y curador de Stay Strange, el exclusivo colectivo de música noise y experimental de San Diego.   

Para What's That Noise?, basándose en sus más de 10 años de experiencia, Lopez compartirá anécdotas, revelará secretos, ofrecerá una visión y explorará la fascinante historia de la escena de la música noise y experimental de San Diego. Pero atención: habrá ruido (y otras sorpresas).

DOORS OPEN AT 6:30 PM.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS:
$10 member / $15 nonmember / $5 student

Online ticket sales are subject to ticketing fees.

  • The lecture will be in person at the Athenaeum Art Center. There are no physical tickets for these events. Your name will be on an attendee list at the front door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is first-come; first-served. Priority seating will be given to Donor level members and above. 

    These events will be presented in compliance with State of California and County of San Diego health regulations as applicable at the time of each concert. Masks optional. If you have a fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms, please stay home.

  • Payment must be received in order to reserve a spot at a lecture.

  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds or exchanges. In the event of a cancellation for which there is no rescheduled date, a refund for this ticket may be issued at the option of the management.
