Commencement TourLU Events

Commencement Tour LU Events are now available for registration! These 55 minute walking tours highlight the academic center of campus. Tours are available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday starting each hour on the hour between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Sign up for a Commencement Campus Tour here.

Jerry Falwell Museum

Visitors can experience the life of one of the most significant Christian leaders of the 20th century. Come learn about the incredible life and legacy of Jerry Falwell Sr. The museum will be open from 8 am – 6 pm Wednesday through Friday, and 8:30 am to 6 pm on Saturday. Chaplains Museum

The museum features a collection of objects and artifacts that tell the stories of U.S. military chaplains. Visitors will learn how chaplains have used a variety of means and methods to carry out their ministry during times of war. The museum will be open on Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 5 pm, and on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Read more about the Chaplains Museum here.

  • 8:30 am – 1:00 pm – Commencement Welcome Fair:  Montview Alumni Ballroom
  • 10:00 am – Degree Presentation Ceremonies
  • 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Graduation Reception: Academic Lawn
  • 3:00 pm – Gates open to Williams Stadium for Main Ceremony
    • Graduates line up on the Osbourne Soccer Stadium.  Please arrive no later than 4:30 pm
  • 5:15 pm – Graduate Processional begins into Williams Stadium
  • 7:00 pm – Commencement Main Ceremony:  Williams Stadium
