Spring has sprung and Rachel Iverson, Children’s Mercy Wichita Pharmacist joined the show to offer advice on the best practices when it comes to spring cleaning.
Rachel shared the importance of seasonal maintenance and cleaning the house, car and other locations the family spends time. One area of importance Rachel discussed was the medicine cabinet or any other location where prescriptions or medications are kept. It is important to regularly check the expiration dates and dispose of expired medications safely.
