Sponsored: A Place to Call Home

If you like Legos, Anthony Slaughter found the perfect spot for one master builder in today's A Place to Call Home.

ST. LOUIS — Carter is a smart, quiet, creative and very inquisitive young man. If you give him a Lego set, he will complete it in no time! He loves to build, but also likes to shoot hoops. He’s working on his basketball skills and is improving every time he steps on the court.

Carter is also a ferocious reader! He is particularly fond of R.L. Stein’s Goosebumps, The Last Kids on Earth, and the Warriors book series. You can usually find him with his nose in a book, unless he’s working on his math. He says he’s good at math, but needs a break every now and then.

This bright, sweet young man has close bonds with his siblings and would benefit from continuing those relationships. Carter is really looking for a family who will take care of him, love him and help him through each new, exciting phase of life. He said the hardest part about foster care is the unknown. He never knows what the next day will bring but having a forever family will provide him the stability he needs to reach his full potential.

Cafter also has a little wish. He would like a gift card for some awesome new school clothes and shoes. He wants to start his seventh grade year off on the right foot!

A special thank you to The Minifig Shop for giving Carter the creative space to explore and build. If you would like to learn more about their birthday parties and Legos, give them a call 314- 698-2081.
