Slater Cup ‘Cycle4MND’ Challenge

Following Ed Slater's diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Kevin Sinfield’s incredible achievement completing the 'Ultra 7 in 7 Challenge' from 13-19 November 2022, inspired by his best mate Rob Burrow, and the tragic loss of Doddie Weir, we wanted to do our bit as rugby supporters to continue raising much needed awareness and funds to support those dealing with MND.

An elite group of Leicester Tigers Fans have teamed up with the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation charity, the Motor Neurone Disease Association charity, & the '4Ed' campaign to cycle approximately 150km 4MND from Leicester Tigers to Gloucester Rugby for The Slater Cup game at Kingsholm Stadium on 12 March 2023 to raise vital awareness & funds for the MND community.

All proceeds from this page will go to the 4Ed campaign, which has been created by Gloucester Rugby to raise awareness and funds in support of Ed and his family’s battle with the disease. The direction of these funds will be determined in due course, whether it be supporting Ed and his family directly and/or a selected MND charity.
