John's Story
John is a dual citizen of the United States and the Dominican Republic. He grew up on the Outer Cape and attended Nauset Regional High School. He worked hard and did well in school. During his senior year, John lost his housing due to a family conflict and was forced to move back to the Dominican Republic.

John was distraught. He felt strongly that his best chance for future success was to stay on the Cape, finish high school at Nauset, and then attend college in the US. It wasn’t long before he boarded a flight alone and got himself back to Cape Cod.
Why I Give
