Overview of Wine.com

Wine.com Review

Wine.com was created in 1998, in San Francisco, California, on a mission to “revolutionize the way people discover, buy and enjoy wine.” The company was originally founded as Virtual Vineyards by Robert Olson in Los Altos, California in 1994, alongside Peter Granoff and Harry Max.

Of course, it only makes sense that the founders were wine lovers, and they made it their goal to provide the widest selection of wines, while also providing guidance and convenience when looking for the perfect option.

Wine.com takes things one step further by offering advice, events and experiences to help you expand your horizons and deepen your exploration into the world of wine. The brand now provides a large selection of spirits and gifts, giving you all the confidence to sip solo or present a loved one with something special.

The company boasts a selection of over 17,000 wines, including options from big brand names to smaller, more unique wines that are more difficult to source. The ease of filtering and sorting, as well as professional ratings and the ability to chat with experts (more on that later) makes it easy to find the right bottle from the massive selection.

Now that we know a little more about this brand and how it works, this Wine.com review will delve into some of the key highlights to keep in mind.
