Les Visionnaires: In the Modernist Spirit
Drawn from the Museum’s permanent collection and the Howard L. and Muriel Weingrow Collection of Avant-Garde Art and Literature from the University’s Special Collections, this exhibition examines the persisting influence of the French avant-garde. With a forward-thinking ethos, artists such as Arp, Cocteau, Chagall, Dalí, Ernst, Gilot, and Miró explore the uncharted terrain of surrealism, dada, automatism, and spiritualism, among others.

TULIPS & TREES TOUR

Starts in Front of Hofstra Hall, South Campus
Director of Grounds Mike Runkel will lead an outdoor tour of Hofstra Arboretum in full spring bloom. You will see many varieties of tulips and trees in their spring splendor. The tour will include a stop at the Hofstra Family Garden, a garden dedicated to “Hofstra parents – past, present & future.” Rain Location: Tulip Lecture in 210 C.V. Starr, South Campus.

3-4 p.m.
2nd Floor Lobby East, C.V. Starr, South Campus
