Back in January, we announced that a pilot starring Tarek El Moussa was in the works for HGTV. Today, we have even better news: that pilot has officially turned into a 14-episode series! Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa will feature Tarek as he mentors real estate novices to help them learn the secrets of a successful flip. And who better than Tarek to teach them? With hundreds of profitable sales under his belt, Tarek is ready to lend his invaluable expertise to those who want to win big in the competitive real estate game.

“My passion for real estate has led me to flip hundreds of homes over the years and I’ve been incredibly lucky as an entrepreneur to build a successful empire in this industry,” said Tarek. “Now I get to help first-time flippers learn the ropes, find the best property deals and show them how to make the most profit on their investment.”

Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa is slated to premiere in early 2020. However, you can expect to see Tarek return to television even sooner. The latest season of Flip or Flop premieres Thursday, August 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV. Season 8 kicks off with Tarek and Christina buying a rundown 4-bedroom property with its fair share of problems, including an illegal addition and sloping floor.

Also premiering on the same day is Tarek’s Flip Side, an exclusive digital series that offers fans a glimpse of Tarek’s personal life as he works hard, plays hard and spends quality time with his family. Fans can stream the episodes on the HGTV app, HGTV.com, as well as HGTV’s Facebook and YouTube channel.
