H2A team wins first prize at Harvard/MIT Startup Pitch Weekend

As an early-stage accelerator that invests in the long-term potential of social entrepreneurs, H2A acts as a strategic bridge across the innovation ecosystem at Harvard and beyond. We are happy to share that 6 H2A teams delivered venture ideas at a startup pitch weekend hosted by the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project and the Harvard Undergraduate Venture Capital Group. Our H2A students and alumni gained free legal support—and a team from our 2024 cohort won the competition. Congratulations to our own BridgeHealthAI!

Paradigm-shifting H2A venture idea earns Best Social Impact Startup

In other good news, an H2A team that aims to create a paradigm shift toward more connected, efficient, and unified healthcare was named the Best Social Impact StartUp of 2023 by the University of Sydney following a live pitch competition. Congratulations to our own Mii! This bold venture aims to provide people with a healthcare passport by enabling doctors to access past and current medical information in Electronic Health Records (EHRs) while also providing individual patients with a consolidated view of their personal medical data. Mii also secured the top spot in the People’s Choice Category at the University of Sydney Innovation Awards.

H2A Brazil sets a high bar for global cohorts

Meanwhile, H2A Brazil continues to set a high bar for our global accelerators. In February, H2A team members traveled to Brazil to meet with our established cohort in Foz do Iguaçu and kick off another year of creativity and entrepreneurship with our academic partner Centro Universitário Dinâmica das Cataratas – UDC Brasil. The level of energy, commitment, and ingenuity of the students, staff, and faculty involved in H2A Brazil is phenomenal.
