Few years after the tragic loss of her husband, Kim – mother of a teenage boy Tim, fights with the sadness of being left alone, of learning how to move on with her life despite the cruel fact that she is never going to see her husband again. Next, to this, she is having difficulties handling her son. As unbelievable as it may seem there is a younger man, Tim’s wrestling coach, that attracts her attention. His name is Chance Carter and he seems to be every woman’s dream. Kim’s life is changing from the moment they first met. Desire mixed with feelings of guilt are a barrier that she needs to overcome. Life has to go on.
Though the title and the events at the beginning of the book, with a bit of a slower pace for my taste, give you a clear indication which way the story goes, I did find pleasure discovering all mixed thoughts and emotions that pass through Kim’s mind. When will it finally be the day when they make the next step? The sexual attraction is very well described, the same as the hot sex that follows repetitively as the story continues. Despite the 16 years difference, they seem to be made for each other. Age shouldn’t matter for those in love. What about for Tim or the rest of the close family and friends? Will their relationship be accepted? I let you discover on your own with a promise of a happy ending and possible overcoming with the age difference barrier.

Type of reader: Fans of an easy summer-read with lots of steamy scenes though with the warning that it is more than just hot sex and the age difference.

My favorite quotes from this book:

“What I wouldn’t give for one more touch. One more kiss. One more chance to say I love you. Missing him hurts. It’s destroying me. Everything I do, everywhere I look, reminders of him tease and torment me. Memories bombard and overwhelm me.”

“I cry feeling alone. Empty. I have no one in my life to hold me. No one to soothe the heartache. I cry until my swollen eyes close and sleep carries me to another realm.”

“There’s been a change in me since the accident. A big one. It’s like I woke that night and found I’ve been living in a cave of darkness. I stayed there, trapped, only I couldn’t see it until Chance peeked his head in and found me. He reached in and pulled me from the cold and darkness.”

“I love him? I can’t. I don’t. I won’t allow myself to love him. I love my husband. Still. Always. Enjoying Chance’s company is okay. Fantasizing about him while I get myself off, who could blame me? Having the hottest sex of my life with him, that’s an experience everyone isn’t lucky enough to have. But love? It doesn’t fit. Not for me. Not for him. Not at all.”

I honestly loved this book so much! I am huge fan of Lily Ryan. Here is your warning stock up on tissues. I cant remember the last time I cried that much during a book. You can honestly feel all the emotions Lily puts into this book. I didn't make it through the first chapter before I had tears rolling down my face. I honestly love books that bring me to tears. You know its a good book when you get so into it that you are crying. I was hooked from the very first sentence. I feel in love with Kim, Timmy, and Chance right away. I loved that this book keep surprising, I had to keep reading I could not put it down. The ages really didn't bother me, I didn't even notice to it was mentioned. I was so happy that Chance wanted to be involved with Timmy. He is a very unique guy if you ask me. This is a must read, I recommend this book to everyone....

“Yikes. I am worse. I’m a horny old spinster!”

“Tears fill my eyes as blackness creeps in from every angle. My brain can’t process. My heart is about to explode. My lungs don’t want to pull in air. My body knows and now, with the blackness overtaking everything else, it’s shutting down.”

Ok, that was in the first chapter! It has been a long time since a book has elicited tears in the first chapter. And, d*mn if it wasn’t a good emotional ride from beginning to end.

The last two years of Kim’s life have been a blurry few at best. When fate took her husband away, she struggles to make it through each day and taking care of her teen son, Timmy. It is Timmy’s wrestling coach, Chance Carter that brings her life back into focus once again. Not expecting to ever feel wanted and desired again, and unsure if she could reciprocate that anyway, she hesitantly begins to flirt with the idea of looking for that second chance when she meets Chance.

The emotional, and steamy, feelings that Chance elicits are foreign feelings to Kim. One problem, he’s much younger than she is. Things start off slow with these two. Although, the sexual chemistry is palpable from the get go, she is hesitant to give into the feelings. Don’t worry though, this book promises lots of steamy scenes that will have you begging for more after each one.

“I don’t know how much time passes while I’m held there staring in his eyes. I’m unable to move. Or speak. I’m Lightheaded from a lack of oxygen. I force myself to pull in a deep breath before the light dims around me and I fall at this man’s feet.”

“Being attracted to this young man and wanting him to want me in return, feels wrong. Shame and guilt swell inside me.”

I love how Chance, though younger, has a bit of a jaded side to him that ages him in years intellectually.

“You seem very wise for someone so young.”

I found myself drawn into his determination to get the woman of his dreams, regardless of how much she may fight it.

“Don’t push me away,” he whispers.”

Will Kim be able to push aside her guilt and fears of being a spinster to embrace her cougar side and discover a new passion she thought was long lost? Or will she walk away from the second chance that she never knew she wanted?

“Fine. You made your decision. Just know that this is your choice.”

This was a nice spin on the a-typical older Alpha man and much younger woman situations that are more often the center of most romance reads you find today. It was refreshing, and I could see where this could become a strong point of Lily Ryan’s. I hope to see more like this from her as I am seriously going through a book hangover from #COUGARLICIOUS. I need more! As this is my first book I have read of Lily’s I do have the benefit of going and reading more of her previously published work!

Cougarlicious is a second chance romance involving an older woman/younger male scenario. A forbidden relationship filled with heat and a range of emotions that will leave you not knowing which way is up.

Kim has been living in a fog for the past 2 years, focusing solely on her teenage son and how the loss of her husband has left a gaping whole in their lives that in her mind, no one can fill. Chance might be young but he has not gone through his life smooth sailing. Having his own life tipped upside down in his early teens, he knows what he wants in his life and he is not giving it up for anything.

Kim’s struggles of making it through each day, her son doesn’t make it easy on her which leads her to meeting Chance. The internal struggle that Kim endures throughout this book takes you on a rollercoaster ride you don’t want to get off. She is a strong, loving and sexual woman behind the layer of grief. Chance doesn’t miss a beat when going after what he wants and he is not above using Kim’s son to do it (in a very nice way of course). He is dominate and ruthless in his quest to make Kim his.

‘“Tell me you don’t want this.” His mouth is next to my ear, his warm breath makes me shiver. ”Tell me you don’t want me to touch you”, he whispers, using that same finger to trace my lips. “That right now, you’re not imagining my mouth on yours”.’

Lily and Chance have that spark from the moment they meet. Their intimate scenes make you hang onto every word on the page hoping that the next chapter holds to same intensity.

Lily takes on a big story line which is generally dominated by the older male/younger female stories, which I think she has done very well without making their moments together something they should be ashamed of. I would love to hear some of Chance’s thoughts through the book, gone deeper into his character giving you a higher understanding of him.

This is my first Lily Ryan book and I have now added a few other titles to my to read list. This book drew me in and I finished it in one sitting. If you are looking for a book that holds more than a whirlwind romance, a story that takes you on a journey through ups and downs, then this is story for you.

I have only read one other book from this author and I loved it but I wasn't sure how this particular genre would agree with me, but I needed to read more from her so I wanted to take a chance. I LOVE when my chances always end up being WAY more than I expected or even thought it could turn out.

I am a lover of crying if a book moves you to cry and let me say that I didn't expect to cry as much as I did with this one. Reading Ms. Ryan's words and feeling every emotion she wants me to feel reading about this particular subject tore down my wall I try to have a least until I get to reading more about the characters and I get an understanding of the situation. NOPE! Not even through Chapter one and the flood gates opened wide and didn't stop then.

Kim is a tough woman and I loved that you could understand that she was doing what she could to help Timmy through a life changing time. She was doing her best to live each day herself but she also had to make sure to connect with her teenage son, and I think everyone know how teenagers can be regardless if you are a parent or not. Chance Carter is Timmy's wrestling coach and I think a good influence on him. Chance had my heart from the first conversation with Kim and then he had all of me after the first wrestling meet. Chance is a very unique guy and I love that he wants to be so involved with Timmy, but in the end I think Kim ended up getting bitten in the ass.

I love love LOVED this story because even though the title is called Cougarlicious, I didn't even think about age while reading unless they brought it up. I got quite a few shocking, cover your mouth gasps come from me during this book, because things happened that were hot but also took me by surprise that they could happen so easily. I can't wait for everyone to read this book and fall in love with Chance, Timmy and Kim!!

Cougarlious by Lily Ryan is a second chance romance that you won't be able to put down until the last page. This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite of hers. I love how this author can pull me into her stories with ease and keep me engaged. Her characters made me feel as if I was right there with them. They took me on a roller coaster ride of various emotions including a few tears. She did leave me sitting on the edge of my seat a few times just waiting to see what was going to happen next. This is the story about an older woman who lost her husband and is learning to find herself again. Kim lost her husband two years ago and has had a hard time letting go. She goes through the motions of her day to day life until she meets her son's twenty-seven year old wrestling coach. The next thing she knows she is wrapped up in interment touches and hot, steamy sex with a man who is worming his way into her heart. Could this be love? Will she find herself feeling something that she didn't think she would feel again? Will age get in the way of a happy ending? I loved both of these characters. They are strong and both have a sensitive side. She is just so broken but I love how he starts waking her body and heart up. He is so good with her son and really does have a big heart. The secondary characters were also great. They help make the story flow into what it is. I highly suggest this book. Find out if these two are able to get their second chances at love.

This is my first read by this author and it leaves me asking myself Why? I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style of this story as well as loving the story itself. I bawled like a baby during some parts as it was written in a way that I felt every emotion that was being portrayed.

Kim struggles daily with being alone and trying to raise her son Timmy, she's doing the best she can, but Timmy doesn't make it easy for her. When she catches the eye of his wrestling coach, Chance Carter she doesn't really know what to make of what she feels around him. Her guilt plays on her and she tries to not let him affect her, and him being much younger does not help the situation. He is so supportive of her son and it doesn't take long for him to break down the walls she has built around herself and they end up sneaking around to keep it a secret from 13 year old Timmy. Just when she thinks she is ready to come clean with her son, the bottom falls out and she is faced with a choice that jeopardizes her second chance at happiness but she must focus on her troubled son.

I truly loved this story and wish it had been longer, although it never felt rushed I could have read about these characters for many more pages. There were a couple parts at the end that I found myself ugly crying...This author did an amazing job of making everything feel so real. I will definitely be looking up all of this author's other books.

Ooh I love these kinds of stories! Older woman, younger man...nothing but roadblocks in between! I think what I enjoy about these stories is that more often than not, they involve kids and kids bring a different element to the story. The parent always has to be more cautious just because they can't just think about themselves when making relationship decisions. I find this brings a more intense element to the angst level and that is what I crave when I read. That emotional reaction. Readers will get that in abundance with Cougarlicious!

The heat between Kim and Chance is hot and most notably the other favorite element was that Chance seemed to be all in and she was not and that is kind of a role reversal and actually kept me reading. How would he convince her to let go and be all in? There were just so many unknowns in this story that I think it pulled me in right from the start and then kept my attention until the very end. As a mom, I felt I could understand Kim's position and that brought out an emotional response as well. Just wanting to protect your kids...I understood that and I am not ashamed that I got wrapped up in that and shed a few tears!

Overall, this was a great story. This is the first story by Lily Ryan that I have read but after Cougarlicious I would not be opposed to reading more!

I am giving Cougarlicious 5 stars

Cougarlicious
By: Lily Ryan
5 out of 5 stars

The story Cougarlicious by Lily Ryan is a wonderful romance book that I loved reading. One of the reasons is because of the characters of Kim Doherty and Coach Chance Carter. Kim is a woman who finds herself a single mom who is just trying to make it through the day and take care of her son. She finds herself feeling brokenhearted and alone. Then she meets Chance. She begins spending time with him and feeling alive again. She does have her doubts regarding their relationship as there is an age difference between them, however there is also a connection that can’t be denied. Kim has found herself looking at a second chance at love. Will she embrace this second chance or push it and Coach Carter away? Chance is a man that cares deeply about Kim and wants their relationship to work. Will he be able to overcome any doubts she may have? This is a story that I didn’t want to put down until I had finished the last page. I just had to know if Chance and Kim get a HEA. It is also a story that gets very steamy as the relationship between Chance and Kim heats up. You can feel the romance in the air and the temperature rising between these two whenever they are together. This book shows how sometimes people can be judgmental and sometimes just plain cruel. I found this to be a well-written story that has amazing characters that you can relate to. This is the first book I have read by the author and look forward to reading more.

Cougarlicious by Lily Ryan is a great second chance romance full of angsty romance. Following the story of Kim who has lost her husband two years ago and rediscovering herself and her love life. Having a hard time reconnecting with herself after her loss, Kim works every day to just go through the motions until she meets Chance, her son’s wrestling coach. The age difference between Kim and Chance is always on Kim’s mind but the way that he makes her feel is something that she can’t stay away from. The more time that she spends with Chance, the sidelong glances and intermittent touches keep her engine revved up and help to worm him deeper into her heart every day. Kim never thought that she would feel this way again, but could it be love? Could Chance be the man to make her find herself again? Chance needed to be a strong character to help bring Kim back to life, and his strength is served both to her and her children. The closer that these two become the more you fall in love with them. Ryan is an old favorite of mine when it comes to romance novels, so when I saw this book I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. The storyline was nothing short of amazing to get to read, the characters and their back stories pulled me in from page one, I devoured this book and could not put it down. If you are looking for a great second chance romance with an older female lead and a hot younger male than this is definitely the book for you!

Aww I really, really loved this story! From the beginning until the end I was completely captivated by Kim and Chance’s story. Although I wasn’t sure about the book based on the title I am so glad that I read it. I completely fell in love with the characters and felt like I was there in the story with them. The book was beautifully written and I think that the author captured the characters and their personalities perfectly. They were all well-developed characters and they continued to grow over the story.
I loved Chance from the very beginning, not just because he was particularly sexy sounding but the way he was with Kim. He was so mature beyond his years and such a genuinely nice person. I could understand Kim’s reluctance between Kim based on her past and having to think about her son but I thought that they were absolutely perfect together.
I really liked Kim straight away and I could feel all of the emotions she felt during those first few chapters, I loved how the author dealt with what Kim had been through and I felt like I could really understand how she felt towards Chance.
I really did love this story and would absolutely recommend it! I can’t wait to read more again from Lily Ryan! I have loved both of the books that I have read by her so far!

Cougarlicious by Lily Ryan is a second chance romance that will suck you in from the beginning to the end. I had a hard time putting it down I was in deep had to keep reading. This isnt my first Book by this author, but its definitely one of my favorites.I loved the characters in this book as they made me feel like I was apart of the story
This story did take me on an emotional rollercoaster ride and I even found myself crying a couple of times. There was a couple of “on the edge of your seat” moments that left me guessing what was going to happen next. This story is about a older woman who has lost her husband and she's trying to find herself again.Kims husband passed two years ago but shes having a rough time letting go.Kim finds herself just going through the motions antil she meets her sons very young wrestling coach. Next she knows she finds herself having hot steamy sex with a man who is definitely easing himself into her heart. Can this be just what kim needs? Is it possible for it to be love?Does her age get in the way ?Can he mend her broken heart ? I highly recommend this Book especially if you want to know what happens. I can't wait to read more from this author.

Cougarlicious by Lily Ryan is a story of second chances after a tragic loss with an added twist of an older woman/younger man. This is not my first encounter with Ms Ryan so I jumped on the story after reading the blurb! It is great to read so skilfully and artfully written books where the dynamics between women and men have turned upside, sort of …. There are not so many stories with older women/younger men that do not come cross too sleazy or …
Cougarlicious is the story of Kim Doherty, who is the mother of an 11-year old Timmy, and Chance Carter, her son’s wrestling coach who is in twenties. I have read the other reviews where they call it a story of forbidden relationship but I think it is only forbidden when you look at it from a narrow moralistic point of view – they are both grownups and consensual and they are not hurting anyone or cheating on anyone … it is the society that looks down on them …
It is a beautiful journey of two people that pulls at your heartstrings and makes you to take stand and keep reading … I would have loved to have heard more ‘from’ Chance as that would have given his characters more depth and layers but at the same time, the writer has taken on a challenge in itself with the topic. I will be on a lookout for more of her writing!

Cougarlicious is a raunchy and racy tale by Lily Ryan. It has been a while since I read this author's work, and I didn't realise how much I missed it and the total rapture I experienced when reading her work for the first time. Every time i pick up a story written by these incredibly talented authors such as Lily Ryan, I feel a complete sense of contentment and bliss.

Kim has her hands full raising her son, Timmy, and when she meets Chance, she realises how she was really not living. Just going through the motions and trying to get by each day. Chance lights a fire in her tummy and causes insatiable desire to heat her veins. Their chemistry is electrifying. They touched my heart on a deep level. I laughed, my heart beat in excitement and broke a little, learning of their struggles. I felt their pain, their triumph, their love.

Cougarlicious was an enticing and deeply sensual novel. It will capture and captivate even the most fussy reader. A story with a difference, but still it packs a punch to the solar plexus. It will also have your heart ready to burst with happiness and elation. 5 stars.

The name of this book is called, “Cougarlicious by Lily Ryan. In the mist of preparing dinner, doing laundry, eating, and putting my kids to bed I read this entire book. It was completely and utterly captivating!!!!!!!!!! There were quite a few issues in this story that kept me turning each page regardless of what I was doing at the same time. The main characters, Chance and Kim were amazing together. They had crazy text messages sent back and forth to each other. They seemed to be an awesome couple together despite all the moral issues going on between themselves and loved ones. Kim was that mom trying to do all following a tragedy that no family wants to experience. She’s trying to deal with the repercussions of that tragedy with her teenage son. She meets the ultimate wrestling coach who seemed to ooze sex appeal from his very pores. He pushes Kim to her limits emotionally and physically. He was a great role model for Kim’s teenager trying to deal with the lose of his father. I am giving this book 5 stars. The author dealt with some serious everyday issues to affect many families.

This was definitely a refreshing read! I loved how the roles were uniquely reversed, in that the male hero was all in in terms of a relationship, yet the heroine was extremely hesitant. I understand Kims hestitantion, In that she has gone through a significant amount of emotional trauma by losing her husband.
My favorite part of this book had to be the age difference between the characters-yet their intense chemistry that was present. I felt the heat wholeheartedly and it was easy to see that both characters were absolutely going to succumb to their attraction. The plot kept my engaged, as I do wished for a happy ending for the characters because they so deserved one.
Kim was definitely a tough woman-and I could relate to her which made this story that much more amazing. She was a great mother, and I really adored how she handled the situation of keeping her household together after tragedy, as well as undergoing so many changes emotionally.
Grab a tissue box, and one click this book if you’re looking for a good cry, and a sweet happy ending!

Cougarlicious is a second chance romance by Lily Ryan. This is not the first book I have read by this author , but it is my new favorite. This fast paced story had me hooked from the very first page. The characters are relatable and the story is true to life. The emotion fad me reaching for a tissue a time or two, but it also had me laughing out loud. I truly believe that is a sign of a great book, the emotional responses.
Kim is a strong single mother, who is trying to do the best she can after losing her husband two years before. Her son is a typical teanager with the grief of his father's death weighing heavy on him, so when he shows signs of interest in wrestling. She is happy his coach is having a positive effect on him. She finds herself attracted to the “young coach”. This leaves her with some questions on whether having a relationship would be a good idea.
You need to get this book to find out if these will overcome the obstacles in their way. You definitely won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this book.

***I voluntarily reviewed this book for Katsindiebookblog, and I gained no monetary incentives nor was I specifically requested to review the book.*** This was such a great book to read. You can easily feel all the emotions the characters are feeling, like you are in the book yourself. Kim is a widow and single mother of a teen boy, Jimmy. While trying to find an outlet for her son, he joins the wrestling team. Well, the team has one sexy coach that all the moms have seemed to notice, however he is on the young side. The coach, Chance, only seems to have his eyes on one mom in particular, Jimmy's mom. Chance is taking Jimmy under his wing and trying to make him a great wrestler, but in doing so, he gets some time with his mom as well.
Can these two put the age difference aside and become a couple? What would her son think and feel about her dating his coach? Many questions come into play in this story, but will love always prevail?
This is a must read book!

Cougarlicious by Lily Ryan is a story of second chances and finding a love so amazing twice in one lifetime. Kim lost her husband tragically and Timmy lost his dad... both are struggling with the loss in different ways yet neither are effective in being happy. That is until Chance inserts himself into their lives and gives them both hope. Kim struggles with the new feelings she has and how to move past the guilt of moving on with her life to be happy. She makes some bad choices and those choice may cost her the happiness and love she didn’t think she could find again.

I enjoyed the story and the characters very much. Chance is super sexy and sweet and I can see why all the single women in that town wanted a piece of him. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes in second chances or have faith that you can find love again after great loss. This was my first book by Lilly and I will definitely be reading more by her.

COUGARLICIOUS is the story of a woman in her early 40s (widowed with a child) and a man in his late 20s (coach to the woman's child). The story flows fast and the characters are obvious in their intentions from the very beginning, but there was just something that bugged me about it.

The story had a very definite beginning, middle and end (even though the end came up very quickly) and there were a few twists and turns along the way. I skipped through most of the sex scenes because they were kind of filler for me. I was more interested in the relationship than the sex. I think each and every "main" character in this story should be in therapy for their traumas - it’s like the book couldn’t decide if it was a book on moral issues (bullying, etc.) or a romance.

Having said all that I've said above, the story was good enough that I would read other books written by the author.

#Cougarlicious by Lily Ryan is a brilliant second chance, older woman/younger man, forbidden romance. It is sexy, sensual, romantic, emotional touching, and entirely entertaining.
Kim Doherty was left heartbroken and shattered after her husband died two years earlier. She has had a hard time letting go of the pain and moving forward. The only reason she goes through the motions of her day to day life, is because of her beloved 13 year old son Timmy. She isn’t interested in relationships, especially since the last one brought her so much pain. But, you should never say never- right?
When she meets her sons wrestling coach, Chance Carter, he turns her world upside down and re-opens a door she though would remain shut forever. Will he sooth and repair her broken heart? What about the guilt, and age difference? Will they become obstacles to their happiness?
A great read!

Thank you, Ms. Ryan!

For some reason I can never really connect with older woman, younger men. Maybe because I find older men more attractive, or it always seems like older woman have such an issues with the age gap.... I don’t know, but that part of the story wasn’t my favorite and that was just a personal preference and didn’t make this book bad. I liked the characters, and the romance that we got. You really could feel that attraction and connection that Kim and Chance. My heart broke for Her and seeing her still dealing with the death of her late husband.... it was heart breaking. Add in Tim, and him missing his dad, learning about them the way he did..... great breaking to me. There were sad moments. I loved that Chance was the way he was. Total swee heart, and just a good match for her. He helped her live again which was great to see, even when it wasn’t good. I loved the ending and so glad they got their HEA. 4 stars #2OCCJD

This book is one hell of a page turner!

It has Angst, Forbidden romance, Love, Lust, Guilt all wrapped up into one amazing ride.

You can’t help who you fall in love with it doesn’t know age, right from wrong or what social standards are it only knows what you fell deep in your heart

So when Kim’s son Timmy gets some
Extra help from his school wrestling coach and Kim meets Mr Carter for the first time Kim Can’t help but drool....

little did she know that Chance Carter also had the same reaction when laying his eyes on Kim.
My heart broke for Kim and the loss of her husband and having to raise Timmy on her own but when Love decides to show its face again and Kim begins to feel alive (something she hasn’t allowed herself to feel since the loss of her husband) things really heat up.
Fantastic read! Loved every single

Book Review: Cougarlicious
Author: Lily Ryan
FOUR STARS
Going through loss of any kind is hard but when you are left alone because your spouse is murdered and you have a child to raise, you do your very best to be strong so the child doesn't see you hurt.
That is one of the many situations that our Female main character is dealing with in Cougarlicious. Now add in the hot wrestling coach, who coaches her son, and the fact that he is almost 1/2 her age and you have a whole other set of issues.
The attraction between the two of them is steamy and she tries to put him off and not get involved but her heart has other things in mind. He is persistant and kind and knows how to get under her skin.
What happens when her son finds out? What happens with friends and family find out?
Great book

I really enjoyed this book.
Kim is bringing up her 13 year old son after the death of her husband. She isn't coping very well and is really just going through the motions and trying to keep things as normal as possible for her boy.
Until she meets her son's wresting coach, Chance. All the mothers think he's rather delicious!!!
Chance offers her son, Timmy, extra coaching, which takes place at her house. They are drawn to one another, but due to the age difference, Kim tries to fight it. But Chance is having none of that!!!
I didn't find the age difference bothered me at all. But the relationship between Timmy and Chance was very nicely written and handled with sensitivity.
Very good story and well worth reading.

#Cougarlicious by Lily Ryan is a short, sweet, incredibly hot second chance romance that will leave you fanning yourself. Kim is a single mother raising her thirteen year old son on her own since the loss of her husband. She has poured her entire life into raising her son and hasn’t had much time for anything else, especially romance. However, one look at her sons wresting coach, twenty something year old Chance, has feelings that she thought long dead stirring once again.
This book was amazingly well written and thought out and while a bit short it was a great overall story. The Main characters were well developed and the plot was fast and furious from the first page to the last. This book is definitely deserving of a five star rating.

How fun is this book!? So many times, these kinds of stories are shallow and just focus on the age difference and not WHY someone would choose someone with an age gap. And, more often than not, these stories focus on an older man going after the younger woman, who is often a virgin. Boring! But NOT this book! Here, we get to see the older woman and younger man drawn to each other and we even get to see why a younger man would be attracted to an older female! There are so many emotions and layers to this book, and it's so much more realistic, yet still awesome enough to be a fantasy, being an older woman to attract the younger hottie! Such a feel good story layered with drama and emotions. Such a great unique spin on a relationship with an age gap.
