Scott & Linda Owens Webb Fundraiser

Donation protected
This fundraiser is for my friend of over 36 years (Linda Owens Webb) whose husband was in a recent accident. Scott Webb has taken a fall from a ladder and has needed multiple surgeries. He had (Traumatic Brain surgery, A stroke, Artery damage, Broken facial bones, Broken wrist and Fractured ribs and unable to move his left side (due to the stroke) ) and unfortunately will be in the hospital ICU and recovery section for a long while. Scott will be having facial surgery a week from today. Scott is everything to Linda and we have to help them. Scott is the most gentle and humble man I know and would do anything for anyone. Let's do something for him please. Let's not forget that Linda has had recent spinal surgery as well and is still recovering from that.

As expenses are mounting and Linda is outside of her Benefits Network in another state (OKC), things may or may not be covered. Meanwhile, Linda is flying back and forth from California and spending every second with Scott praying that he wakes up and will recover. He has a difficult road ahead but I am convinced with your help donating, Linda and Scott will be okay and make it through this ever so scary time.

Note, This is my idea to do this as Linda is not the kind of person to accept help. She gives help all the time and is reluctant to accept it. PLEASE DONATE WHATEVER YOU CAN, even if it is $1. Anything will help. My friend Linda and I went to high school together #ANTELOPEVALLEYHIGH and we Lopes stick together for life!!

Southwest Airlines Gift cards would be excellent too! Anything you can do, any amount will help my friend, our friend, everyone's friend, Linda Owens Webb and Scott Webb. When it rains, it pours, and let's show our love for Linda by pouring in donations.

Thank You and God Bless my friend Linda and her Husband Scott as they are both in my prayers.

Paul

UPDATE on SCOTT from LINDA 11/5/2021

Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, 9:30 pm CST
While Scott’s surgery on his facial fractures was reported successful, he will face a challenging 24 hours (at least) in monitoring his pain and post-surgical issues. I’m camping out in his room tonight. He can get fentanyl every couple of hours but since he has trouble communicating, I’m going to make sure he gets it close to that schedule.
The surgery involved going up under the upper lip to work on the cheekbone and down behind the lower eyelid to work on broken bone under his right eye. Tonight the blood from the mouth incision is collecting a bit in his throat so the suction of his trach is largely blood which is unnerving! Monitoring this closely tonight as well.
As you pray for Scott’s physical recovery, please pray for his emotional and spiritual health well as well. As his awareness returns and sharpens, the magnitude of what he’s facing will sink in. He has an army of love and support but the road ahead will be so very difficult.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147:3‬
