JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Happy Pride Month, First Coast! Here is a list of events that you can attend to celebrate, all month long.
- June 4 - Pride Night at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens - 'Rainbow Events in Jacksonville' is holding a Pride Night at the Jacksonville Zoo. Attendees are asked to wear red to the event. Click here for more information.
- June 6 to 10th - The Acosta Bridge will be lit up in rainbow colors in observance of Pride Month observance from June 6 to 10.
- June 3 - Duval Folx 4th year Anniversary and Pride celebration
The event will be held at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens from 6pm-9PM. The event will celebrate Duval Folx's 4th anniversary in the community while also celebrating pride. Get ready for a Black, Trans and Queer dance party that is rooted in safety! Click here for more information. - June 4 - JASMYN Pride Homecoming Night - Come dance under the stars at MOSH Planetarium with JASMYN at Pride Homecoming! Dress to express for a night of good music, good food, and most importantly good company! The free event will run from 6-9 p.m.. Registration is required to attend. The event is for youth ages 13-19. - June 5 - Backyard BBQ With Pride We Stand - Come enjoy food and music at this BBQ Party! The event will run from 3 - 9 p.m. at Shantytown Pub. Full plates of food cost $18. The party will feature DJ's and dancing as well to celebrate Pride! Click here for more information.
- June 9 - 4th Annual Jumbo Shrimp Pride Night 2022 - Join River City Pride for a fun night at the ballpark! Tickets are on sale for $10 with proceeds going to River City Pride 2022. Click here to buy tickets.
- June 10-11- Hamburger Mary’s Endless Summer Weekend - Hamburger Mary's will host RuPaul’s Drag Race Queen Miz Cracker. She will perform in the Saturday shows at 8 and 10:30 p.m. only. The weekend celebrates Hamburger Mary's 11th anniversary as well as Pride! Click here for more information.
- June 11- 2nd Annual Fernandina Beach Pride Parade & Festival -Fernandina Beach Pride Parade and Festival is back! The festival will feature live music, local vendors, food trucks, and of course a colorful parade. The event is family friendly so everyone can come show their pride! Click here for more information.
- June 11 - Watermelon Sugar Pride - Hyperion Brewing Company is hosting a pride event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be specialty drinks, music and lots of bubbles! Click here for more information.
- June 11 - Rainbow Awards 2022 - A ceremony for the most outstanding LGBTQIA achievements! Black tie and evening gown attire. The VIP meet and greet will run from 6-7 p.m. and the award show will begin immediately after, running until 9 p.m.. The event will be held at WJCT-TV Studios. Click here to buy tickets.
- June 12 - Fernandina Beach Drag Queen Brunch - Who doesn't love brunch? The event begins 11:30 a.m. followed by the Drag show at 1 p.m.. After a delicious meal, you can continue to enjoy bottomless mimosas while 6 Drag artists entertain you.
- June 12, 15, 29 - Sun-Ray Cinema Pride series - Sun-Ray Cinema will be playing a series of Pride themes films throughout the month of June. 'The Birdcage' will air in time for brunch on June 12 at 1 p.m., 'Derek Jarman's Blue' will play on June 15 at 7 p.m. and 'The Watermelon Woman' will wrap up the series on June 29 at 7 p.m.. - June 15 - Pints for Pride – Benefiting CampOUT - Show your Pride at Legacy Ale Works from 5-9 p.m.! The 'fun and fabulous' evening will feature a rainbow sour flight, Drag Bingo event and a show hosted by Momma Ashley Rose of the Rose Dynasty Foundation. Proceeds will go towards providing a safe and fun camp for LGBTQ+ youth across Florida! Click here for more information.
- June 25 - Big Gay Rainbow Family Picnic - Bring your family and friends, chairs and blankets to enjoy food, games and good company! The picnic will be held at Willowbranch Park in Riverside from noon - 6 p.m.. Spend time with your LGBTQ+ family while commemorating Stonewall. (There is no alcohol allowed in the park.)
