We are changing it up this year, we will have the CHIO Annual Meeting at the end of the first day the Oklahoma Rural Health Conference. If you would like to also attend the conference, you can register at: https://www.rhp-nwahec.org/rural-health-conference.

After the meeting, there will be a networking and socializing hour in the hotel lobby area.

There will be a CHIO Poster Sharing Showcase again this year! Posters will be showcased at a special designated area at the Oklahoma Rural Health Conference. Your poster can be about your Rural Health Innovation Challenge project.

We are proud to annouce the Rural Health Innovation Challenge which will be awarding cash prizes to CHIOs and other rural health organizations. To learn more visit www.publichealthok.org. Deadline to apply is May 17th.

Advance your certified partnership, increase access to resources and support, enhance collaboration!

This is a great opportunity to network with other CHIOs and coalitions, share best-practices, learn from heath industry experts and funders, and gain more insight to resources available to communities.

The Public Health Institute of Oklahoma is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2004. We began out of partnership with the Oklahoma Turning Point Council having entered into by virtue of having a shared philosophy and vision: to create a greater outcome of a healthier Oklahoma.

Our mission is to bridge government, academia, and communities in order to facilitate health improvement.

We serve as a neutral convener between health related governmental agencies, academic programs and community level organizations including but not limited to health care providers, hospitals, mental health providers, education, business, faith based organizations and tribes.  PHIO fosters innovation, supports nonpartisan health advocacy and leverages resources in order to facilitate health improvement
