AMbiENtE: Autonomy and Mobility in Engineered and Natural Environments

Location

Bloomberg Auditorium, Cornell Tech

Description

Mobile sensors and the Internet of Things are providing unprecedented opportunities for sampling the air quality field that, when combined with recent innovations in artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, and electric vehicles, can inform the design, policies, and management of future smart cities and natural environments.

The AMbiENtE Workshop will bring together world leaders in urban technologies and planning, mobile sensing, transportation, and the smart grid to discuss outstanding technical hurdles and opportunities that await us in the development of future integrated engineered and natural environments.

The event will include keynote speakers, a Q&A, student poster session, panel discussions, networking sessions, and a tour of the Cornell Tech campus.

Sponsored by the Urban Tech Hub of the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute, Cornell Tech, Cornell Engineering, Cornell Energy Systems Institute, Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability, Veho Institute for Vehicle Intelligence and the Italian Academic Center, and the Italian Scientists and Scholars in North-America Foundation.
