WHY I'M RUNNING

I’m running to bring my experience as a mom, an educator, and a legislator to Congress to fight for Arizona values. 

Our economy is growing and adding jobs, but too many families are still living paycheck-to-paycheck. In Congress, I'll stand up for solutions that create breathing room for middle and working-class families. That means focusing on jobs that pay well and don't require a college education to make a middle-class living. My opponent votes to protect the oil industry's mega-profits when Congress should be cracking down on price-gouging at the gas pump. Arizona suffers from drought and extreme heat. I will vote to protect our precious water and speed up our transition to lower-cost clean energy. I will also stop Congress's attacks on our reproductive rights and work to re-establish Roe V. Wade as the law of the land.
