Please keep your dog leashed until you have reached the beach sand.  Dogs must be leashed in the parking lot and on the upper bluff. There are many squirrels, birds, dogs and other distractions that your dog may react to. Even well trained dogs may be distracted. The leash law applies to all dogs!  Dog Beach is leash optional.  Please be mindful of leashed dogs that may be new to the environment.  Dog Beach is next to Highway 1 and can be a danger to your dog if they happen to run onto the highway. Please protect your dog and respect the leash law.
