Since we launched in August 2016, the change-outs from the Wood Stove Exchange program have resulted in the prevention of 340 TONS of wood smoke particulate matter, harmful gases, volatile organic compounds and hazardous air pollutants! And prevented over 2200 TONS of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions.

Wood Burning Tips

When you do burn wood, please only use dry, seasoned wood. Keep track of the daily air quality status from November through February on HHS's Air Quality page.
