PALM SUNDAY EASTER CANTATA

On Sunday, March 23, our beautiful Chancel Choir with Joy Lutheran Church Choir and Chamber Orchestra presented The Weeping Tree: A Holy Week Cantata by Joseph Martin. The 11:15 a.m. service brgan with a palm processional.

Fair Haven Easter Lilies
Many thanks to those who contributed to the Easter Lilies that decorate our altar Easter Sunday at Fair Haven. Click the button above to see the list of dedicated lilies. Dedications will also be shared in worship on Easter Sunday, March 31 and lilies may be taken home following the Easter Sunday service, 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 31 in the Sanctuary.

Carnivores in the Courtyard

Special thanks to all who came out for our fun Carnivore dinner. It would not have been possible without our wonderful grill master, Kevin Gonzalez, assisted by sous chef, Pastor Paul! All the side and desserts were delicious and many thanks to the cleanup crew who jumped in and cleared the space. It was great to see so many longtime members and new faces. We won’t wait until the next Leap day to gather again!

Anointing at Bethany Service

At 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 there was a meaningful expression of worship held in the Fair Haven Sanctuary. The Anointing at Bethany service featureed special musician, Jessica Lewis, with worship leaders, Sarah Barnett and Tammy Heinrich. What a blessing to come and remember the sacrifice Christ made for us.

Easter Sunday

Celebrate the risen Christ at Fair Haven with two Special worship opportunities: Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m. in the Courtyard led by our Contemporary Worship team and traditional Easter Worship at 11:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary. The 11:15 service will be available for livestream at live.fairhavenumc.org And will feature our Fair Haven Bell Choir. There will be no 10:00 Sunday School on this day.

Easter Sunday Egg Hunt

Before our 11:15 worship on March 31, we will host an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 10 and younger. Come gather at 10:30 a.m. to watch the hunt and welcome visitors to our Easter Service with coffee and donuts. Special invitations will be given to our Fair Haven Day School families who we hope will join us on Easter Sunday for worship.

FAIR HAVEN LENTEN STUDY

For four weeks during Lent, Pastor Paul lead a Wednesday midday study at 1:00 p.m. in the Office conference room and a Thursday encore in E107 at 6:30 p.m. The study was based on the book "What if Jesus was Serious?" by Skye Jethani.
