Jenn was diagnosed with Leukemia on January 4th after going in for a routine blood test. In matter of 24 hours she went from nothing being wrong to her whole world turned upside down. The leukemia they believe was found very early. The type is AML.
She is ready to fight with her army of family and friends behind her. She is overwhelmed with all the support and well wishes. She is using this as motivation. As she keeps saying, " I have baseball and dance competitions coming up in 3 months and I do not got time for this noise."
Jenn will be in the hospital for 30 days starting January 6 for her 1st treatment of chemo. After that, depending on what tests show, she will then go into phase 2 of chemo were she will go in every 2 weeks for 5 days. The goal is the 1st stage will put the leukemia in remission and the 2nd stage to take care of any cells still floating around.
