Energy usage for large buildings
Colorado HB 21-1286 requires that electric and gas utilities provide energy usage data to owners of large buildings who meet certain requirements. Owners must report on energy-use benchmarking data and comply with rules regarding performance standards related to energy and greenhouse gas emissions and modifying statutory requirements regarding energy performance contracts.

Requesting energy usage data
Register your building
All units included in the property (apartments, floors, suites, etc) must be associated with the building during registration. A confirmation email will be sent once the registration process is complete.
Request energy usage data
Once registration has been confirmed for the building, complete the request for energy usage data. Usage data will be emailed within 30 days of submission or receipt.
This program is currently only available for select business customers in Colorado.
