Sixteen local financial executives will be celebrated as this year's CFO of the Year honorees.
The CFO of the Year awards recognize the top financial executives who help grow their companies and are active in the Tampa Bay economy. These executives go above and beyond for their teams and play an influential role in the community.
Honorees who don't carry the official CFO title are included as they are the top financial executives in their companies.
Nominees submitted detailed materials and recommendation letters, and an internal judging team led by the Tampa Bay Business Journal newsroom and publisher evaluated the submissions.
Nominees were asked to describe their contributions to their companies' success in the past year, specifically how their efforts strengthened their company's strategic market position and demonstrated excellence and accountability. Nominees also shared details about their leadership, business practices and any community involvement and board appointments they hold.
This year's honorees are presented alphabetically in the gallery and listed below. They represent a range of industries, from finance and restaurants to construction.
