The first official reveal trailer has finally arrived, immediately showing that the story will once again be set within the fictional state of Leonida -- based on Florida -- which includes Vice City, a fictional version of Miami.

The soundtrack for the revealing clip features late Florida-born rocker Tom Petty’s 1989 Full Moon Fever track "Love Is A Long Road" playing as scenes of the city flash across the screen and a glimpse is given of the game's lead character, Lucia.

While there are plenty of throwback easter eggs for gaming fans to find throughout the trailer, Tom Petty fans will certainly have to squint to catch the "Petty Forever" logo created in the colors of his Full Moon Fever album art -- but it's definitely worth rewinding a few times to see.

Love certainly is a long road, and so is the trail of crime and redemption -- not to mention a hefty playlist -- that awaits players when the next GTA installment arrives, which has become known just as well for its highly relevant soundtrack as it has for realism and excitement.

2013's GTA V famously featured 241 song tracks shared between 15 radio stations and another two with only talk radio.
