Voice of the Rare Carrier

A 6 Part Workshop Series for Carriers of Rare Diseases

Are you the carrier of a rare genetic disease?

The experiences of Rare Carriers are largely hidden. They often feel as if their story is overlooked or misunderstood. This is an opportunity to build community with those who can relate. ‘Voice of the Rare Carrier’ will provide you with a space where you can explore with others what it truly means to be the carrier of a rare genetic disease.

Workshop will run from June 21 - July 27, 2021.

Meetings hosted via ZOOM on Tuesdays 5-6:30 pm PSt // 7-8:30 pm CST.

For six weeks, participants will be guided as a group through a series of thoughtful prompts that will focus on topics like guilt, relationships, parenting, fertility, genetic testing, identity, and more.

Each workshop will include live virtual group discussions that are then reflected by a skilled illustrator. Between workshops, participants can share additional thoughts with the group via our vlogging platform, Moodify. These insights will bring a ‘voice’ to these important topics.

Group is limited to 25 participants.
