Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has released TaxWise Mobile, an app that provides a mobile interface for tax preparation and integrates with TaxWise Online, Wolters Kluwer’s web-based tax prep software.
Mobility is fast becoming a necessity for accounting professionals who have come to expect remote capability from their software. TaxWise Mobile allows both tax professionals and their clients access to the tax preparation process via their smartphones, computers, or tablets, without needing to visit the office.
On TaxWise Mobile, taxpayers can fill out information, upload documents, and review their prepared tax return. The taxpayer can then e-sign the final return and send it back to their preparer through the app for e-filing. Once the return has been filed, the app can also track the progress of the return and refund.
