2022 InWomen's LATE BREAKER Poster Abstract Submission Form: OPEN MAY 1-7
Welcome to the late breaker online abstract submission form for the 2022 International Women's and Children's Health and Gender (InWomen's) Group Conference. InWomen's will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Hilton Minneapolis in Minnesota. InWomen's will return for an in-person meeting, however we will also offer a virtual hybrid option for select sessions.

High-quality abstracts that adhere to the following criteria will be considered for a poster presentation:

Aligns with InWomen's mission, focus, and current 2022 conference theme
Contains a gender and substance use component or focus
Well written and follows format guidelines (either for research or program abstracts)
Focus is on a critical or timely global topic

Abstract Requirements
Only abstracts with a focus or component on women, children, youth, LGBT+ individuals, and/or gender differences in areas pertaining to substance use will be considered. Priority will be given to abstracts that relate to the InWomen’s mission and vision and conference theme. You may submit up to three abstracts for consideration. Abstracts should fall under one of the Primary Abstract Categories below, and at least one Secondary Category.

World Limit:
Limit the body of each abstract to 300 words, including section headers.

Language:
Abstracts must be submitted in English.

Format for Research Abstracts:

-Methods
-Results OR Findings
-Conclusion OR Discussion

Format for Program Abstracts:
-Introduction
-Program Overview and Progress
-Lessons Learned

Primary Categories:
Abstracts should fall under one Primary Category:

Late Breaker Abstract Submission Deadline: May 7, 2022 at 11:59 PM ET
All abstracts submitted for the InWomen’s Conference will be reviewed and scored by the Abstract Review Committee. Presenting authors of selected abstracts will be offered the opportunity to present at the 2022 conference.

You will be notified via email whether or not your abstract has been accepted by the end of May 2022. If your abstract is accepted, you will receive a request to confirm your availability to present. Instructions on how to prepare your presentation will be emailed to you in advance of the meeting, and also posted on our Cvent website.
Submission Procedures
The online submission system permits the abstract(s) to be copied from a word processing document or a clipboard and pasted directly into the submission field (please limit your abstracts to 300 words)

Please ensure that:
-Your information and selections are correct
-Authors are listed in the proper order
-No typographical errors appear in the title, the authors’ names, or the text of the abstract.

*Abstracts will be included as submitted in the conference materials. Keep an original copy of your submitted abstract(s) and your electronic submission confirmation.
Conference Registration

Please note that conference registration is separate from the abstract submission process, but you must register and attend the conference to have your abstract published and to present.
