This research seeks to engage with faculty, staff, and students at Virginia Tech (VT) to understand the needs for the development, application, and integration of extended reality at all levels. Extended reality (XR) is an overarching term that refers to any technology that adds technological or digital elements to an interaction. VR creates an immersive digital environment for users, while AR overlays digital information onto the physical, surrounding environment.

If you complete the survey, you can choose to be included in a drawing for $50. The odds of receiving $50 are one in forty. If you agree to take part in a follow up focus group research study, you will receive $25 for your time and effort.
