Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!
Warning: heavy photo post
http://shrsl.com/1wku7
Today is a special blog hop as we celebrate the release of Metallic Watercolor Pan set.
As you may know, Altenew has a great assortment of watercolor medium.

The latest?
I am super excited to share 2 projects with you.
If you arrive from the blog of LauraJane , you are in the right place!

All the details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog

First up, it is my first take with the Metallic Watercolor Pan Set.
Altenew-MetallicWatercolorPan Set-HappyPomegranates-Virginia#2

For the background, I mixed the Altenew Embossing Paste with the Altenew Mountain Mist Watercolor Brush Markers ( any Altenew ink can be substituted).  I applied the paste over the Classy Stripes Stencil and left it to dry.

Now.... here is the beauty of the metallic sheen!
I applied them all over the water-colored image. Not only this leaves a lovely shine on the image, you can use it to tone down or enhance the color palette!

The Happy Pomegranate Stamp & Die Bundle are ideal for coloring.

My next card is focusing on the Metallic Gold Colors.

I stared out creating a stenciled background with Bubble Wrap Stencil and Altenew Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray Mist and Frosty Pink Metallic Spray Mist.

I then heavily colored the die cut hearts from Halftone Hearts Nesting Die.
You can also see the textures from Dotted Swirl Cover Die.

Sentiment is from Sentiment Strips.
